ashfayetheloser said: So, I was thinking (and stop me if you've heard or done this before), but I think a great project for you would be to make posters for classic books. Like a cover redesign or something. I just think it would be great to see your interpretation of these great old books and making this modern kind of poster or something. I dunno, I just love you style so much and to be honest I just want everything to look like you drew it haha. :D
Hey! Yes, this is a super good idea and I actually did something similar for a uni project not too long ago. It was called classics revisited and the book I got was Catcher in the Rye. Here’s a picture of the final outcomes I came up with, what do you think? (I made them out of paper)
But this is a fun idea, I could make this a future project! Maybe get people to suggest classic books they’d like to see considering I don’t really know many! Anyway, thanks for this suggestion - should be a fun project!! x
some muggleborn like “i want to be an astronaut when i grow up!”
wizard kids like “wtf is an astronaut”
"oh you know…the people who go to the moon"
i realized that i’d never finished spock and since it was so close to done i finished it up today. I wanted to paint spock looking more or less relaxed, so i imagined this is how me might look at home on Vulcan. :) i’m gonna say it’s tentatively, maybe, probably finished. photoshop cs5; click for hi res
In order to be successful in Social Media, you need to be social.
i don’t understand why people don’t instantly respond to “what would your dream superpower be” with the ability to manipulate probability.
think about it. what’s the chance someone will drop 1mil in front of me? 0%? let’s make that 100%. what’s the probability i’ll wake up tomorrow and be X gender? 100%. what’s the probability my bathtub is filled with mac and cheese? 100%.
as a casino employee I can confirm this would be terrifying as fuck
If you ever feel like you’ve screwed up, just remember that in 1348 the Scots thought it would be a good idea to invade England because the English were weakened by the Plague. They subsequently caught the plague themselves, went back to Scotland, and killed half their own population.
